CFI Saskatoon is having a fundraising dinner with the Amazing Randi,  magician, escape artist and longtime skeptical advocate.  Randi founded the James Randi Education Foundation (JREF) to advocate against pseudoscience and frauds.  The JREF’s annual The Amazing Meeting (TAM) in Las Vegas draws over a thousand like minded people.

Randi famously discredited faith healer Peter Popoff on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Uri Geller.

Hey gang! I know you’re all excited for the USFA’s activities this year! So logically it should follow that you’d be excited for an opportunity to meet your fellow freethinkers for some beers, engage in lively discussion, and hear about the constellation of fun events we have planned! Well good news! By some coincidence we have arranged for JUST SUCH AN EVENT TO TAKE PLACE!

Take this chance to get to know your fellow freethinkers, share your experiences of living free of religion, and let the exec know what you’d like to get out of the group. If you have any friends who might be interested, bring them along! We’d love to meet and hear from all of you!

Cheers, and Happy Freethinking,

USFA Exec.
