Black-footed Ferrets Are Back

The black-footed ferret was one indigenous to Saskatchewan, but they went extinct in Canada about 70 years ago.  More recently they were reintroduced into Saskatchewan’s Grasslands National Park from a number of captive populations.

The Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet did this story on searching for wild-born ferrets in the park. Video Link.
