It is a very good idea to celebrate Darwin anniversary especially now that the “theory” the evolution of the species have been attacked.
The religious fanatics of many religions want to regain the power and influence the lost many years ago with the renaissanace. we could celebrate so many scientists like Galileo and other who suffered and lost their lives under the Inquisition.

I’m from Shrewsbury in the UK (where he lived), they just built a big monument worth about £1million to him, and a theatre! Lucky hey.
